I've been taking Sudafed 12 hour for my stuffy nose at the recommendation of the RN at the Minute Clinic. It works great and I can actually breathe out of BOTH nostrils during the day. I take it once in the morning when I get up and once at night before going to bed. The last two nights I've woken up at a ridiculously early hour in the morning (like 5:30 yesterday and 3:30 today). And I had overheard the pharmacist telling this older gentleman the other day that some allergy/sinus medications have stimulants in them that can cause you to stay awake at night. This morning I checked online and guess what...the Sudafed I'm taking is one of those. Either it's I can't sleep because of the drugs or my stuffy nose. Stupid drugs.
