a fun (and full) weekend...

So here's a recap of my weekend...

Friday

Mark got home from work and gave me two tickets to the University of Minnesota vs Colorado College hockey game. It was a really fun game and a nice casual night out on the town. After the game we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for some wings, buffalo chips, and adult beverages. It was a great night.

Saturday

Mark got up at a ridiculously early hour to go and work on the motor for his snowmobile. So I stayed in bed, layed around, and read until 10 when he called and asked what was for breakfast. We bummed around the house for the rest of the morning and then headed to St Cloud to a housewarming party for his brother and sister-in-law. It was a good time. It was mostly family there, but it was really great to see everyone and catch up.

Sunday

We did some random house stuff (read laundry, yard work, etc) in the morning and then headed to the Pine Tree Apple Orchard in the afternoon. Our goal was to come home with some Honeycrisp apples, apple cider, and pumpkins. We accomplished one of the three. Honeycrisp is one of the most popular apples in Minnesota and they were all sold out already. The pumpkin season was also over and the only ones that were left were rotten. :( So we ended up getting some apple cider, apple butter, and caramel apples and driving in search of pumpkins. We ended up finding some at a local church. Crisis averted. We're going to carve them tonight so stay tuned for pictures. :)

Hope you all had a great weekend!
